Ingridients:

  • 1 piece tom yum paste
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, chopped (optional)
  • 2 celery, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 Lemongrass
  • 5 button mushrooms, diced
  • 1 chicken  breast, diced
  • 5 large prawns
  • 2 cups (480 ml) water
  • 2 tablespoons pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions:

  1. Set water to boil in a pot
  2. Add the tom yum paste to the boiling water
  3. Put garlic, celery, tomatoes, lemongrass, mushrooms, chicken and prawns inside the pot. Leave to boil
  4. Add chicken, salt and pepper. Leave to boil for another 10 – 15 minutes, until the smell of the soup wafts around the kitchen or until the oil from the tom yum soup appears on the surface on the soup
